BUYERS WISH LIST
Most buyers have a good idea of what they are looking for. The normal list would include # of bedrooms, garages/stalls, bath rooms and general layout of the home. Also schools, hospitals and access to freeways, airports etc. One must keep in mind what the price range is,usually within $100,000, i.e. range could be from $300,000-$400,000. It is very important to talk with a lender to obtain a letter of credit or a form called in Arizona, Pre-Qualification Form. This is a one page document from a lending institution or broker stating that you are qualified to procure a property within a certain price range. This is very important in the buying process because it identifies what the price range is before looking at homes which you may or may not qualify for. Even if your paying cash a letter would be required so the seller knows that you are a qualified buyer and the seller will work with you. When you make out your list, say ten items you would like, expect to get maybe seven items on your wish list. If you get seven or more items on your list you are doing pretty well!
